Our motto is Faith, Hope, Love and that is what we live by at Kyrios. We have faith in God, but also in each and every child. We have hope in the future of every learner and we believe that we are equipping them to be the best that they can be. Through all of this is the golden thread of love – love for our Maker, ourselves and each other.

SPORT: We currently offer netball, soccer, athletics and cross-country. We have also introduced our learners to field hockey. Kyrios won the CDL floating trophy for the following: U9 soccer (2018), U15 soccer (2019) and U19 soccer (2019). We have had previous athletic participation on district and provincial levels.
CULTURE: The school offers Art club, Bible Study, Chess, Choir (FP), Debating, Eisteddfod, Newspaper, Olympiads and Eco Club.
From 2021 we also offer several cultural classes after school hours.
Kyrios offers the Department of Education’s National Curriculum, CAPS. The acronym stands for Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements.
The biggest advantage of Kyrios as a private school versus public schools is firstly our teacher-to-learner ratio of approximately 1:20 as well as the school’s ability to set higher stands of assessment.
The grade 12 learners write their National Senior Certificate examination to ensure compliance with admission requirements for Universities and other academic institutions.
Kyrios is situated on a 13-hectare farm on the outskirts of Bloemfontein near Tempe Airport in the Groenvlei area. This “rural” setting, with its beautiful gardens and open spaces, creates a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Transport is available from different pick up points in town. The grounds belong to the directors of the school and is continually being developed.
