APPLICATION PROCESS
1. Complete the Application Form

2. Submit the Application
The completed application form, together with all required supporting documents and a recent photograph, must be submitted to the school office either as a hard copy or via scanned email submission.
3. Interview Process
Once the application has been reviewed, the school will arrange an interview with the Head of School or a member of the management team. Parent(s)/guardian(s) and the learner are required to attend.
4. Application Review & Acceptance
All applications are subject to approval by the Director, Academic Board, and Finance Department. Please note that a credit check forms part of the approval process. Successful applicants will receive a formal Letter of Acceptance.
5. Registration Fee Payment
Upon approval, a non-refundable registration fee of R2200 is payable. Please refer to the application form for payment details.
6. Learner Placement
Once registration has been completed, the learner will be added to the official class list and the school database (SA-SAMS).
7. Previous School Reference Check
The school will contact the learner’s previous school to confirm that accounts are up to date and to review the learner’s disciplinary record.

Text Books: Book lists for all grades are reviewed and updated annually and are available from the school office or the school’s website https://www.kyriosschool.co.za/category/newsfeed-in-menu/book-lists/ . Ordering and payment of all books and stationery must be done by the parents
themselves at relevant bookstores and stationery shops.
Bookstores: Aristata (Bloemgate) and Van Schaik (Park Road or UFS Campus). The school has a “used book
shop” where (depending on availability) books can be purchased.
Stationery: Some grades are required to purchase stationery packs at the beginning of the academic year.

BUS FEES
Learners that wish to make use of our bus service, must apply at the office.
Bus fees are payable in advance for the month, and payable over 11 months, if the bus fees are not paid by the 3rd day of the month the learner will not be allowed to use the bus services. Bus fees are invoiced along with school fees.

DISCOUNTS
School fees
10% discount on tuition fees is offered on fees paid in full for the year by 31 January.
Family discount
1st Child: Full tuition fee payable, no discount
2nd Child: Qualify for a 5% discount on tuition fees.
3rd Child: Qualify for a 5% discount on tuition fees.
4th and subsequent children: No further discounts unless expressly authorised in writing by the School Board.
No cash for school fees is accepted at the school. We do however have an electronic card facility at the office. School fees to be paid by EFT (Bank transfer). Discounts are given for families and for fees paid for the year before 31 January.
