JP4iR Robotics Club

The purpose of teaching the students coding and robotics is to not only prepare them for the demands and vision of the future as it relates to these subjects, but to also steer them into the engineering disciplines. Initially, the plan is to introduce them to coding basics and computational thinking using block-based programming. Block-based programming is a method where students can give a computer instruction to perform by dragging and dropping different functions that they want to perform; this method of programming is ideal for anyone starting programming as students will be able visualise what their program is meant to do.
