A Journey Through the Footsteps of Jesus!
Today our school experienced a truly powerful and emotional session as we walked with our learners through the final moments of Jesus’ life – right up to His crucifixion.
Learners took part in meaningful activities, including washing each other’s feet and having their feet washed by teachers – just as Jesus humbled Himself to wash His disciples’ feet.
We reflected on Judas’ betrayal with the silver coins, and the significance of Holy Communion, which learners shared together with their teachers.
One of the most touching moments was when each learner took a thumb tack and pressed it into the cross – representing the nails that pierced Jesus’ hands and feet. A deeply symbolic act that reminded us all of the price Jesus paid for our salvation.
This was not just a lesson – it was an encounter with the heart of the Gospel, and we believe it left a deep and lasting impression on every learner.
